Hello September <3

Finally the fall has arrived in Oslo. I actually love fall, even tho I felt summer this year never really started and went way too fast. One of the best things about Norway is the seasons. The landscape looks truly amazing during fall, especially in October month, with all the colors painted on the trees.
The air is getting crisper and the days shorter, but too many good series coming out and new dishes I am excited to experiment with.

Wish you all a great rest of the week. I have an exciting meeting coming up, and a really fun shoot this week. Was thinking about sharing how I prepare mentally and diet wise before a big shoot. Let me know here in a comment or in a DM if that’s something you would be interested in.

The last few days have been super sunny and warm here in Minnesota. I am a typical Norwegian: when the sun shines, I have to get out and take advantage of every minut of it. This can be kind of annoying for people who don't share the same mentality. I remember my friends back in LA used to make fun of me all the time, they get too spoiled over there with sun all year around. I guess Scandinavians just appreciate the sun differently.

Long walks and exploring the city is much better when the weather is good. Tomorrow our guests arrive from Norway. I have been stressing quite a lot this week to get everything settled before they arrive, I want them to get in a vacation mood and enjoy the stay as much as possible. We still received some furniture today and carried it into the house.

We are super excited to get our very first guests from our home town in our new home. Tomorrow we will probably take them around the neighborhood and go for brunch somewhere cozy. I wish this weather would stay, but it will probably get cooler again soon. Except from having guests, we don't have that many weekend plans. Sunday is home game for the Wild, and even tho Mats is not playing I'm still gonna go with our Norwegian friends.

My favorite things about fall <3

I love the fall season. In love with the fresh crisp air and the colors changing. I just realized Halloween is coming up in about a month, so yesterday I started looking at costumes. As a child I loved dressing up for Halloween, and its kind of embarrassing, but I still do.

Here are some of my biggest reasons to love the fall season;

1. The colors changing and nature is beautiful - go out and explore!

2. Mushroom picking combined with walks in the woods.

3. Hot soup and warm blankets <3

4. New Netflix and HBO series out, recommendations much appreciated!

5. Hot chocolate with cream is my favorite thing above all. - will post an amazing paleo recipe soon.

6. Cozy warm sweaters and boots every day.

7. Halloween coming up in a month, costume planning!

8. Home spa, pamper yourself. - After a long week of work. Treat yourself, fire some candles, put on some meditation music and make a little spa in your bathroom with a homemade facemask.

Enjoy fall you all and happy Sunday! I'm about to get ready for brunch with my girls in Oslo.
