Hello September <3

Finally the fall has arrived in Oslo. I actually love fall, even tho I felt summer this year never really started and went way too fast. One of the best things about Norway is the seasons. The landscape looks truly amazing during fall, especially in October month, with all the colors painted on the trees.
The air is getting crisper and the days shorter, but too many good series coming out and new dishes I am excited to experiment with.

Stay home with Pretty little thing

How are you all holding on? I am staying busy with work from home and experimenting in the kitchen almost every day. Heading back to Norway very soon, and can’t wait! Feeling pretty isolated here in LA, and will be another life back in Norway where I will be able to use the nature every single day. Even tho the rules are pretty strict in Norway as well, the trails are still open, and people are allowed to go out for walks in the woods, as long as they keep the distance.
I’m trying to put on some makeup and something else then joggers every other day, but have to admit I’m mostly in my robe and slippers.

Jungle-green date night

Finally, I got a bit of a tan and excited to wear some colorful clothes again. During winter months, I never find inspiration to wear any colors and always end up wearing black and grey. Summers make me so much more inspired and creative!

Familia reunited in South Norway

The last few days have been super lazy. Feels so good to finally take some time completely off and hang out with my mom, dad, sister, and brother. We have been picking blueberries in the woods, kayaking, playing sand volleyball, swimming in the ocean and exploring the cutest little island Lyngør. 

Yesterday we ate dinner at the little sail maker restaurant at Lyngør island called ¨Seilmakerfruens Kro¨. They serve Pizzas, fresh sea food and such.

I love timeless pieces. When packing for summer I always bring simple denim pieces. It feels like denim goes with everything, especially for Norwegian summer where people dress more casual. It's easy to dress a denim dress up or down for whatever you feel like. I love this basic denim dress from Revolve. The dress is tight but super stretchy, so feels comfortable. For a more casual look, I wear it with an oversized vintage denim jacket.

NYC Summer - In collaboration with Amber Sceats

My week started pretty lazy, as everyone take the weekend including Monday and some even Tuesday off here in the US for Memorial weekend.

Memorial weekend is for remembering and honoring people who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces - and has nothing to do with partying, even tho that’s what most people do!


Here in NYC, lots of people go upstate, to the Hamptons for long weekends. I was super excited to finally go away for a few days, but got a fever the day before leaving so had to cancel the entire trip. So bummed to miss out.


Anyway I had some nice and lazy days off here in the city, met up with my Norwegian girlfriend and some of her friends for her birthday! We had lunch at Catch, and the food there is great. Especially for the sushi and sea food lovers. They have vegetarian and gluten free options too and there is always a good vibe there. It ended up being a pretty short week after all.


Next week starts my crazy work scudule. Working for a client here in NYC that I worked with a few times before, so I know its a good crowd of people.
That always helps when you know you have some long days ahead. At least I have the weekends off, and hopefully the weather will stay nice!:-)
