I spent last week with some of my close friends in Sandefjord, Norway. We got super lucky with the weather, and got the most out of the days, with good food, dips in the ocean, boating and kayaking. Hope you all enjoy summer, even tho a lot of us are back at work already. This summer went way too fast!

Zinque West Hollywood

Zinque is one of my favorite places in Weho. Probably not anytime soon with the virus going on, but defiantly worth checking out if you ever make it out to LA in the future. It’s a French style, back garden place reminds me of a lot of Europe and Italy or France. It’s decorated with plants, a cute fireplace, and outdoor seating. Their drinks and healthy bowls are great, as well as their oat milk latte.



I met up with my polish girlfriend that I haven’t seen in a while. This place is never overcrowded, and you usually need to make a reservation for a table, as it is really popular. We ordered a quinoa bowl and an oat milk latte.



I wish you a good week. Stay patient, positive and respectful during this time. Meditate, and get creative with cooking and home workouts. That’s what I do these days, as well as studying, catching up with friends over facetime and relaxing with candles, podcasts, and good music.
I will try to post another easy superfood recipe this week, stay tuned.

Exploring Beverly Hills

Hello from sunny, but cold LA.
Whether this week has been windy and cold, but not freezing. Defiantly cold for being Los Angeles. I have been working, studying and catching up with a girlfriend, as well as helping her with moving down to Venice beach. I can’t wait for the warm weather to return.
Tomorrow I have a really exciting meeting in the city, fingers crossed!

West Hollywood's most fancy coffee spot

Gotta love spending time with my mom, here in LA. Feels fun doing tourist stuff with her. Seeing things threw her eyes feels super refreshing. She have been here once before, a few years ago. This time around we got to do all the things we didn’t manage to do last time she was here. Thats the thing about Los Angeles, even people who have been living here for 20 years, still haven’t been everywhere. There is always something new to check out in this city.
I took her to my favorite coffee spot in the heart of West Hollywood, Carrera Coffee. You can get your own picture from your phone printed on your latte!

Beverly Hills Hotel

I love old fashion hotels with personality. Beverly Hills hotell, is an old well-known hotel, with a modern twist.
The hotell’s interior is all pink, with cute flowers and plants decorated all around. There are three restaurants in the hotel, but the one by the pool area is my favorite. My mom has never been to this hotel, so I thought it would be fun to show her around. We met up with my girlfriend Kristen there for lunch and spent the rest of the day by the pool.

Valentinesday in West Hollywood <3

I hope you all had a great Valentine’s day this year. As my bf is in Minnesota, I spent V-day with friends this year. First at Nespresso house on Beverly Drive for an iced coffee with my homie Kenny, then later on dinner and drinks at the rooftop of Edition Hotel in West Hollywood. It was pretty magical sitting there under the stars, with the view over Los Angeles, with one of my best friends. Cheering for love and many more years to come of a great friendship. I’m truly thankful for having some great friends over here in LA, good friendships mean everything.



My mom just got into town yesterday. I’m super excited to hang out with her this week! Today I’m taking her to one of the older, more traditional hotels in Beverly Hills with a girlfriend joining us for lunch.

Back in LalaLand

Feels amazing to be back in LA. I appreciate the sun like never before, after spending so much time in cold Minnesota winter. I love to wake up on a sunny day and start off my day with a walk outside in the warm weather. It feels more like Norwegian spring then summer, the nights are still pretty cold.



The day after I arrived I was working and the following days I have been spent with friends, catching up and checking out the new Edition hotel in West Hollywood. This hotel is truly amazing. For those who are into a plant-based living, and like to be surrounded with greens and greens, this hotel got it all. In the heart of Weho, with its own spa, pool and rooftop area. My friend Molly and I spent an entire day there catching up. I’m defiantly going back soon. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a trip to Lala land! I will try to do a little travel guide to this hotel, for a full description. I’m truly obsessed with the hotel and all Editions values about a greener living.

Mayakoba/ Mexico -Welcome to the jungle

This year All-star break we decided to go to Mexico. We looked at multiple different beach vacations but ended up with Mexico as it is one of the closest places by plane from Minneapolis. We usually go just the two of us, but figured out it would be fun to go as a group and do dinners and activities together.
It’s nice to lay down on a sunbed for the first few days, but after it gets a bit boring. At least for us. We love an active vacation, combined with the beach and sun.




Fairmount Mayakoba is a hotel 30 minutes from Cancun airport. The hotel property is spread out over a bigger area, surrounded by canals and jungle.
When we first got to the hotel, we felt like everything was too spread out and didn’t know how to get around. There are white bikes spread around over the area and the hotel guests can use them as they please to go from breakfast to the beach, or from the beach to lunch. The bikes can be placed anywhere. There was also golf cars driving back and forth at all times between the restaurants, the hotel rooms, and the beach area. After a few days, we started loving it! Once we got used to everything, it felt really peaceful to ride a bike to breakfast in the morning and go back to the room after the beach. The hotel is gated, so only the guests and the staff working there will be seen at the property. The hotel felt safe, and the staff was helpful at all times.

The first day we got told there are alligators in the canals, and monkeys in the jungle. Pretty cool to be in the middle of the jungle, but It kind of freaked us out, so we decided to change a room closer to the beach where the other couples were as well. The beach area included a bunch of different activities and water sports. Some of them were beach volley, catamaran sailing, paddle boarding, and windsurfing. We did one kind of activity every day. We didn’t leave the hotel the entire week and still didn’t get bored.




The beach restaurant served lunch at the beach, and the two other restaurants were serving breakfast, lunch and Asian fusion. The breakfast restaurant was by one of the canals and the food was bomb, I had guacamole and fresh fruits for breakfast and lunch almost every day. I’m usually not a big fruit person, but experienced fruits in a new way in Mexico. There was a little tent in the middle of the buffet where a Mexican woman with a huge fruit basket in front of her, where you could pick your own fruit and she would cut it fresh in front of you. When it comes to the guacamole and the tortillas, don’t even get me started. Mexicans know how to do good guacamole, that’s for sure!

We did couple dinners almost every night, and I guess our favorite was the Asian fusion restaurant. They had great sushi as well as different dumplings and curries. Before we left the US, everyone told us to be careful about food poisoning and not to drink the water. The bacterias in the food in Mexico are different then what we are used to. We tried to be careful and didn’t drink the tap water, and luckily also didn’t get sick.




I defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a trip to Mexico. Especially if you like being active on holiday, and also if you have kids who need to be entertained. I would love to come back to the Fairmount Mayakoba in the future.

Amsterdam for a day.

I randomly ended up spending a day in Amsterdam after my flight got canceled on my way back to Minneapolis. I always wanted to go and see the canals in Amsterdam, so decided to get into the city center by myself and take advantage of the situation.




I took an uber and did some quick research on a few places I wanted to check out in the canal area.
As I started walking along the canal I spotted a Japanese girl all by her self struggling with taking a selfie in front of one of the canals. I asked her if she would like to help with the picture, and then we started talking. We had a lot of common interests. We talked about many different things, but mostly the work mentality in Japan, her thoughts about the high suicidal rate there, and our different cultures. I defiantly learned a lot would I never have known if I didn’t get to know this girl.




Since we were both hungry we decided to go for lunch. She was as happy as I was to share the experience of Amsterdam with someone. We ate lunch at Lotti’s, a cafe which is a part of The Hoxton hotel. The food was delish. I ordered oatmeal, that was literally the best oatmeal I ever had. It was added chia seeds, walnuts, raisins, and agave. As well as an almond latte.




The next stop was The cold-pressed juicery, just a few meters walk. I did a green juice, but they had all kinds of different options, as well as different kind of bowls and wraps. This is more a to-go place and not really much of a seated cafe. Most of the cafes we passed are right on the canals, you can feel the pulse of the city wherever you decide to sit down. I can only imagine how magical this city would be for spring or summer. We were lucky enough to get a little bit of sun, and the weather was actually not too bad for being January.




Last but not least, this place I found on Instagram, and it was on the top of my wish list to check out. Polaberry serves homemade chocolate in all different shapes. They are probably most famous for their chocolate-covered strawberries, the unicorn chocolates on a stick (the ones in my pic), and their classic Amsterdam chocolate. This is a really cute place I recommend to check out. My new Japanese friend loved it too!




This was all I had time for before I had to get my ass back to the airport, for my rescheduled flight to Minneapolis. I definitely would love to go back and explore much more. Probably with some girlfriends for a weekend trip that would be a lot of fun.

Last week in NYC summed up.

Day 1.

The last week has been super busy. I decided to fly in a few days before Mats game to get settled in. I stayed with one of the Swedish wife’s from Rangers as we become really close when Mats and I lived in NYC. It felt good to be able to spend some quality time with her while visiting NYC.
The first thing I do when landing in the city is to walk against Hudson River, all the way downtown to the battery park. Just to feel the pulse of the city.
The first night we hang out with some of the other girlfriends and wife’s on rangers, really good seeing the girls again and catch up on all. 

Day 2.

I had some shoots set up, as I’m waiting for my visa to get confirmed I can’t work legally yet, but figured out it’s great with some new material for the book. Not sure how nice the pics will turn out tho, since I couldn’t sleep at all my first night, probably too excited to be back and see everyone. The third day I met up with some Swedish model friends who live in NYC, we did some vintage shopping at the Real Real, strolled around Soho and enjoyed the city. I had a late dinner with Mats family who also got into town to watch the game the next day.

Day 3.

I woke up and decided to go Rumble boxing. This was one of my favorite workouts in NYC and I have missed it. The gym feels more like a club, with neon lighting, loud music and even some pro athletes enjoy this workout. The workout goes on a bag, so you don’t box against anyone. After I had a lunch appointment with some of my American girlfriends at Soho House in the Meatpacking district. They serve the best food and also have a fireplace. So cozy and grateful for my friends to show up on a Monday on such short notice, we were in all 7 girls, and we all ordered the same. The kale salad with salmon.. so good! 
After lunch I had to rush home and get ready for game night. I rushed over to my Swedish girlfriend’s place. We always used to go together to games, so she asked me if I wanted to sit with her during the game. It was pretty emotional when they played the video of Mats and all his highlights from his carrier in Rangers, ending with “thank you Zucc”. I love how hockey brings people together, it truly is an amazing sport. So much love in Madison square garden that night even tho it ended with a loss for Wild. So happy I could be there and support him on a special day.

Day 4

I woke up and the sun was shining super bright. I remember last year in NYC was super cold, so I put on layers of layers with jackets and sweaters. Then I head out to meet with Mat’s family. We walked around in Soho and ended up at MarieBelle, which is my favorite cafe in NYC. They are most known for their amazing hot chocolate. I always stock up in chocolate when visit this shop. Yep, I got overweight just from chocolate .. we sat down on the cute little cocoa bar and enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate. When everything else is so busy in this area, MarieBelle is the perfect escape to get some rest in between sightseeing.
At night I was so dead, was supposed to go to the New Jersey game that night, but had a meeting at 5 went to bed already at 8 and passed out. NYC can be pretty overwhelming when you're not grown up there, at least for me. even tho I lived there for almost 2 years I never really got use to it.

Day 5. 

My last day in the city I had lunch with Mats family at one of Mat’s favorite restaurants, Serafina. Since his mom is part Italiens he loves Italiens food, so we used to go there a lot when we lived in NYC. Its a super casual likable restaurant with classic Italien food. After I did some errands and ofc picked up candy from Mats’ favorite Bon Bon, Swedish candy shop. 1 kg candy, no biggie!. I literally got 2 kg overweight because of the chocolate I bought at Mariebelle and that candy. 

Since Thanksgiving was coming up the next day some of my friends there had organized a Friendsgiving at Edition hotel Times Square my last night. The restaurant in the hotel is named “Terrace” and is a Michelin star restaurant. And I have to say, the food was bomb. I ordered the roasted cauliflower as well as the vegan Bolognese. I am actually celebrating my 3 meat-free weeks and I have to say it’s going pretty well. The meat-free bolognese honestly tasted really good. I asked some of my meat-eating friends to try it out, and they said it tasted bomb too. I really want that recipe.

Day 6.

I woke up, packed my stuff and headed to the airport. Excited to see Mats and celebrate Thanksgiving with one of the families from the Wild and their kiddos. Being meat-free on Thanksgiving can be interesting tho, I hate being that difficult picky person. Let’s see how that goes. Wish me luck!

Quick stop in Oslo

I had the best time in Milan. Enjoyed the last day, just strolling the streets of Milan with my brother and waving goodbye to Duomo for the last time during the golden hour. Milan is defiantly much prettier on a sunny day!



Been spending the last days in Oslo with family and close friends. My beloved grandparents have been in a car accident, and its a miracle they are still alive.
I decided to surprise them both in the hospital on the first day I arrived from the airport. As I spent a lot of time with them growing up we are really tight and talk almost every day. Thankful for every day spent with them.



I’m back at the airport and taking off in just a bit. Heading back to the USA with perfect timing as Mats is back from LA today as well! I can’t wait to cuddle up for a movie night after a long flight. Planning on forcing him to watch ‘‘Game changer’’, as rumors told me it just got out on Netflix!

Milan guide. part 2.

Fancy brunch - God save the food



This if one of the fancier and more pricy brunch places in Milan. They have 3 different locations around in Milan and I do recommend the book your brunch table in advance as this place usually is full. The food was great, and the portions were in a good size too. I would love to go back here in the future for sure.

The big question is where to eat healthy in Milano, the city of pizza and pasta. A few friends have asked me for healthy recommendations. Personally, I don’t come to Italy to be healthy or on a diet, but there are a few healthy spots I can recommend that have really healthy options for those who prefer that.



Wegamama - More like a sushi place with tons of healthy options and good bowls.


Juice bar cafe (Duomo) - colorful bowls, juices etc, vegans options too.


Temakinho - One of Milan's new hotspots. This is a super fancy sushi place with amazing bowls, as well as rolls. The interior inside is pink and tropic. Cool spot to check out, very close to Corso Como/ Garibaldi.


California Bakery - They are located with multiple locations around Milan. They serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch with a Californian inspiration.

Rosa & Co


Are you a fan of poke bowls, you better check out this cute spot. The interior from the doorstep to the ceiling is all pink and they serve great drinks too.
\They are located in Corso Giuseppe, Garibaldi.

Starbucks Reserve - Great coffee



For the coffee lovers, I do recommend checking out one of the Starbucks reserve cafes in Milan. Starbucks Reserve is an upscale version of the normal Starbucks. They recently opened one in NYC too, in the Meatpacking district, right next to our old place. Its always packed there, probably since its the only one in NYC.
Their coffee is great and their pastries too. Perfect to enjoy a little coffee in-between sightseeing. We went back 3 times during our stay, much better than normal Starbucks coffee.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

Italy’s oldest active shopping mall. The galleria is always packed with tourists. For fewer people, I suggest to go earlier in the morning and not at the weekend.
The galleria also has restaurants, so for those who just want to people-watch and have a snack that is also an option. We found a cute ice cream place on one of the corners inside and just walked around for a little.

Porta Genova



Porta Genova is like Brooklyn in NYC or Grunerlokka in Oslo. The area has become super popular in the last 5 years, a lot of students, artists etc live here.
The famous Navigli canal is located in the heart of porta Genova surrounded by cafes and restaurants. No matter what time of year, there is always a great vibe in this area, especially around aperitivo hours, when the Italiens get together after work to have their daily glass of wine.

A lot of people would probably think its weird to eat Asian fusion in the city of pasta and pizza. But after several days with a full carb diet, we felt like eating a lighter meal. Tenoha is a newer Asian fusion restaurant located in Porta Genova, really close to the subway station. We combined the restaurant visit with sightseeing and shopping in Porta Genova. Both food and service were good. We had warm bowls with seafood and noodles, delish!

Papilla



Last but not least: Papilla just opened in Porta Genova, and recently got rated to Milan’s new nr one pizza. The spot is super cute and created by an italien family. Everything is brand new inside. Those who know me well, know I don’t eat pizza really often. This time it was defiantly worth it. Super thin, crispy crust with soft mozzarella cheese and salty ham. Yep, Italiens know how to make their pizza right!

Milan guide. part 1.

After spending a lot of time in Milan for work, it feels amazing just to come for pleasure and fun. Its a completely different experience to visit for a few days, then living here as a model. The good thing tho is that I know the city pretty well, and how to get around. I got a lot of questions about what places I recommend to see in Milan, so I decided to make a mini travel guide with my favorite spots in Milan. I’m not a typical tourist, I like to go with the flow and take it day by day.




Pandeus, Garibaldi



We started our first day with a brunch in Garibaldi, at Pandeus. Really cozy restaurant that serves brunch, lunch and also has a bar, and is supposed to make really good drinks. I felt like having a little boost after my flight, so ordered a beet juice with ginger and apple as well as some eggs. Everything was super fresh and good. The service wase’t amazing, it seems like everything is a little bit unorganized here in Italy, at least compared to the US.

Garibaldi Area



This has grown so much since the last time I used to live in Milan, back in 2014. I remember Garibaldi was the new and upcoming spot they just finished building, now this area is one of the most popular spots in Milan. It’s always busy here, no matter what time of the day. The area is full of stores, like Nike, Sephora, Colmar, Tesla, Reply and Venchi. Venchi is my favorite chocolaterie in the entire world. Italiens know how to make good ice cream, but also chocolate. They have my favorite chocolate spread, and I always buy a ton to take home in my luggage. They also serve fresh crepes with chocolate spread, perfect after a long tourist day! Garibaldi also has good restaurants and cool cafes to hang out.

Corso Como


This is my very favorite area in Milano. You can take the green metro line to Garibaldi, and Corso Como is just two min walk from there. The street is full of smaller boutique stores, cute cafes, restaurants, and bars. This area becomes crowded around 7 o’clock when the bars and restaurants starting to get busy.

We enjoyed a drink and aperitivo on our second day at Cimmino 104 in Corso Como. I had a bloody Mary as I felt super jetlagged, after a long flight from the USA the day before.

10 Corso Como



My nr 1 restaurant in Milan, 10 Corso como is surrounded by plants and candles. Perfect to get a break from the busy city life in this little garden.
They serve traditional Italien food, with inspiration from a greener living. The restaurant is not vegan, but they do have vegan options. We ended up ordering a vegan meal: pasta with mushrooms. Super tasty! We got extremely full after the pasta, so didn’t try the dessert menu, but had a decaf coffee. Best decaf coffee I have had for a very long time.

Duomo - Town House Lounge



Some people come to Milan, only to see the famous Duomo Cathedral. Its located in the heart of Milan and is one of Italy’s most popular tourist attractions. It’s usually a line to go inside the church, so if you want to see it, I suggest coming early in the morning for fewer people. We decided not to go in, as it was packed with way too many tourists.



Instead, we decided to go on one of the rooftops for a drink to get a nice view of Duomo.
“Town house lounge” is a Michelin drink bar on one of the rooftops next to Duomo. The drinks are made by a robot machine! Pretty cool, I have never seen anything like it before. It was a pretty cold day, but thankfully they had heat lamps outside. When it started raining we left. I do recommend to visit this when the sun is shining, for a better experience! It was pretty pricy tho, maybe same as Norwegian prices for drinks. I also do recommend “Terazza Aperol” or “Obica Mozarella bar Duomo”, for a good view over Duomo. Defiantly more worth it on a sunny day tho.

Spontaneous trip to Europe

We just said goodbye to our guests from Norway this week and had some days to catch up on everything I didn't do while having guests here. We had a blast in Nashville and I think they had a great time staying with us in Minnesota. A few days ago I attended the Jack Jablonski charity event with some of the wives and girlfriends from the Wild team. Jack Jablonski changed forever after he was hit during a high school hockey game. The resulting injury left him quadriplegic. He started his foundation, ‘Believe’ and keep inspiring and engaging people all over the world. I am extremely overwhelmed and impressed by this guy and his attitude towards life. 

Today has been such a sunny day here in Minnesota, and I'm trying to take advantage of the sun as much as I can before the cool kicks in. I love being out this time of year, the colors on the trees truly inspires me everyday. I have decided pretty spontaneously to go on a trip to Milan as my brother studies economics there now. I haven't been to Milan in a long time and figured out its a good excuse to go while he is there. It will be cool to stroll the streets and hang out with my mom and brother again and explore the city together.
I know Milan pretty well, as it was one of my best markets for modeling in Europe, as well as Germany. Milan was where I started booking good catalogs for clients like Guess. 

When I lived in Milan for the first time, I was young and pretty new in the game. I stayed in a model apartment, and it was pretty exhausting at times. Living with 5 other girls from all over the world with different cultures and languages costs a lot of patience. Surprisingly enough, all models I have ever stayed with have been super nice, except that many struggles with eating disorders and such, but for the most part easy-going and nice girls. Anyway, thank god I don't stay in a model apartment this time. Im sharing a room at a central hotel with my mom, excited about that. Can't wait to see beautiful Duomo, and visit my favorite area, Corso Como, and ofc eat some Italian pizza!

I remember I got yelled at during Fashion week back then, because I was too tanned, and was gonna wear a cropped top for the show. haha. Model life was really not that glamorous back then in Milan, that’s for sure!



I will try to make some updates from Milan, and recommend you some good eateries etc! I'm already off to the airport just in a few hours.

Nashville, Tennessee

Hi, u all!

We just got back from a short trip to Nashville. While we had a game there against the predators and figured out we would join because none of us have ever been there before and the flight for Minneapolis is pretty short. We stayed at the Hilton hotel which got the best location if you wanna be Close to where it all happens. Broadway is the main street w al the bars and the stadium is just across the street from the hotel. The first day, we decided to just walk around from the hotel and explore. So cool to experience a city like Nashville. It is totally like in the movies, or how I would imagine it would be. Already at the plane, we could see people w cowboy boots and hats, people wear boots and hats even at hockey games, like an everyday uniform... 

I always loved playing cowboy and native American as a child. My entire life I have been obsessed with Vikings, Native Americans, and cowboys so this was truly an amazing experience for me. Found the perfect pair of boots that I have imagined in my head for years, I'm usually super picky with what I buy.
Because I always find small details I don't like, but this pair was just made for me. The name of the store was Boot Facorty, and it was located on broadway.

We had lunch at Sunda, a really popular brunch/ dinner spot a girlfriend from the team recommended me. They serve Asian fusion. We ordered some different food to share, and the food was super tasty. After lunch we stopped by Marsh house for a coffee, this place was inside Thomson hotel. Cool interior and good atmosphere. March House, is just across the street from Sunda.

30 min quick change at the hotel and off to the game, Wild started well but unfortunately, we lost. 
We ate dinner at the Italian restaurant at our hotel, The Hilton. The food was ok, but not sure if I would recommend this place as an amazing Italian. We were pretty tired and just wanted some food pretty fast.

Last day we slept in a bit and packed our stuff. We got recommended Omni hotel for brunch so we decided to take our luggage with us and eat brunch there before heading to the airport. Food was good and service great, they even took care of our luggage when we arrived.

Excited to be back in Minnesota witch feels more and more like home. Today I have a charity event that I'm

excited about as well as a home game! Fingers crossed for a win today!

RH - luxury furniture and rooftop restaurant

If you are looking for a nice spot to have brunch or a fancy dinner in Minnesota, this is the new hot spot you don't wanna miss out on. Restoration Hardware is originally luxury furniture and home retailer. They opened their rooftop restaurant in NYC, Meatpacking district just about a year ago. Their rooftop in NYC quickly became one of Manhattans' most popular brunch spots and dinner spots and it is almost impossible to get a table over the weekends. 

As well as the RH in NY, the Restoration Hardware in Minnesota is a three-level 

showcase store with a rooftop restaurant on the top floor. They serve both lunch and dinners, also during the weekdays. Just a few minutes from the RH store is the ¨Galleria¨, a smaller luxury shopping center with stores like Tiffany, Louis Vuitton and such. 

We ordered a burrata to share, and a filet of grilled salmon as our main course. The food was delicious and the music and atmosphere were good too.
We will defiantly come back some other day. Usually, it feels like you can be casual in most places in the states, but If you want an opportunity to dress up, this is one of the more dressed-up spots in the city.

Exploring new superfood spots in Minnesota

It's only my second week in Minnesota, but It feels like I have been here for a month already. I have been doing so many things and met so many people in such a short period. I had honestly thought Minnesota was a small and kind of boring place to live, but it is not! The city feels big, and there are so many things to do.



I have been spending hours after hours in home goods, target, RH and such to organize for the house. I do enjoy it, even tho if it is a lot of work.
People here are so helpful and genuine every time I ask someone for help. I also got a car now, which I was pretty nervous about at first. I have been in the states for 3 years now, but I always avoiding driving. I felt like I had to challenge myself when we moved here. Minnesota is not like NYC with a subway right outside your door. Being able to drive gives me much more freedom.



One of the girls from the Wild team is from Finland. She and her husband live close to us, so we have been spending a lot of time together in the last few days. It's always something special about the Scandinavian culture and how you bond with each other. She shows me all the cute spots, I'm adding some pictures under from our lunch at ¨Crisp and Greens¨ in Minnesota yesterday. 
The place is super cute and with all kind of options, also for the vegans! I did a green bowl yesterday, with chickpeas, carrots, tuna, feta, avocado, spinach and some super tasty ginger dressing. I do recommend this place, super clean and and the service was great too! Also an option to be seated outside, (like we did) when the weather is good.

Hope you all have had a good week and is as excited as I am about the weekend. I am going to a concert today, which Im really looking forward to! Tomorrow it is the Wilds first home game, here in Minnesota. I am super excited to be there and see Mats on the ice again, lets hope for a win!
Minnesota has been warm and nice the last few days, but the rain just started. Rumors told me it will snow this weekend. Gotta get prepared for some cold winter months, even tho I'm pretty used to cold weather.

Nomade Miami

As many of you know, one of my favorite hobbies while Im traveling is to check out new superfood spots.
While I was in Miami in March month I explored a lot of new, dope places that I want to share with you.


My girlfriend Molly Strauss is one of my very close friends from modeling. We got to know each other the very first time I came to Miami almost 3 years ago.
She was my roommate back then, and when you share a room with someone, you get to know each other really fast. Now it feels like I have known her for a lifetime.


We have some big passions in common; We both love nature, and quality super food, or soul food like we call it. Our religion is the universe and Mother Nature. We can have the deepest conersations about energies, daily experiences from work or just the life journey in general. Yep, pretty nerdy. I know.
We always joke about it and call ourself grandmas. Because we enjoy cooking and drinking tea, while our friends go crazy on the parties in Miami.


Molly invited me to this extremely cute spot while I visited her. I absolutly loved it! The vibe is inspired by Tulum. For those of you who have been there, you would know what Im talking about. The interior is nomadish, with dream catchers hanging from the ceiling, and their meals are freshly prepared by their own chef right in front of you.


The little restaurant is located pretty random, in the middle of nowhere, in a different part of Wynwood District. Definitely worth the experience, especially if you are in that area. There is so much to explore around in Wynwood District. It is completely different then all the typical fancy South beach spots. This place go back to the roots and got a homy, personal touch. We both ordered a big bowl topped with fresh grilled salmon, soo good!

Miami on a budget - The Generator

Min favoritt ting med The Generator, er selvsagt beliggenheten, men også den inkluderte sykkel utleieren de tilbyr. Miami er helt perfekt å oppleve på en sykkel. Sykkeltur på morgenkvisten for å se soloppgangen over Sooth beach, før alle andre våkner til live.
